The Vapor series presents a special "drilled" manufacturing design combined with butter-smooth, one-handed, manual opening. The open handle is constructed of heat-treated, high-strength 410 stainless-steel while the drilled configuration enhances the knife's light presence and feel. The blade is built of select AUS6A stainless steel. For ultra toughness, the blade is flat ground to Kershaw's famous, "shaving sharp" edge. The blade releases manually when the user pushes on the thumb stud and rotates the blade into place. A frame lock holds it firmly into position. Select from two sizes and two finishes with straight or else partially serrated blades.
The Kershaw 1650 Vapor Knife features a 3.5" AUS6A stainless-steel partially serrated blade with thumb stud designed for one-hand opening. The 410 stainless steel handle comes with a decorative hole pattern, frame lock, and a pocket clip. The Kershaw Vapor II Knife is 4.5" closed, and weighs 4.5 ounces. No Speed-Safe assist on Vapor models.
