Totally awesome knife. CPM-D2 cutting edge. Sandvik steel spine. CPM-D2 is a powdered steel that is finer grained than regular D2 and gets much sharper. This is one big bad ass assisted opening folding knife. It's the best D2 knife I own, and definitely the best Kershaw knife I have. If you've been looking for a great D2 cutting edge knife, this is the one to get. Enjoy! Mike
