The Kershaw Ken Onion Leek, Model 1660, has a Sandvik 13C26 stainless steel 3 inch blade with a 410 stainless-steel handle. The blade has a bead-blasted non-glare finish and the handle features a stainless-steel finish. The Speed-Safe assisted one-hand opening system swings the blade out smoothly from the handle when using the thumb stud or index-open assembly. Simply apply pressure with your thumb or on the back of the handle with your index finger, and the blade deploys. The innovative tip safety lock secures the blade to prevent any accidental opening. An internal frame lock operates with one hand for convenient closing as well. When closed this 3 oz Kershaw knife is 4 inches long. Comes complete with a removable/reversible pocket clip.

Fantastic knife except for three issues. 1. The finish on the handle does not allow for a good grip. 2. The tip lock can be broken too easy. 3. The blade lock is hard to operate using only one hand.

I have owned the Kershaw Ken Onion model for approximately 12-14 years. I absolutely love the knife. It fits so many of my needs. Stainless so it does not rust, extremely reliable, trouble free, can open bottle caps with the finger-flip end, very sharp, and is easy to put a razor sharp edge back on. I have worn out 3 different blades and the company always replaces the blade or gives me a new knife. I cannot say enough good about this knife. I cannot say enough good about Kershaw. I have owned my knife for many years(7-8) and have been pleased with ease with which I was able to maintain and keep sharp . Today I was lubricating it and to my dismay the assist spring broke ,what a shock I'll send it in I've heard that they take care of this sort of thing quickly so in the mail it goes I'll let you know how it goes Dave Great knife love mine
