All Kershaw knives are built to maintain the company's worldwide reputation for quality and innovation. Kershaw prides itself on using the highest quality materials and state-of-the-art techniques to produce knives and other cutting tools that are prized throughout the world.

The Kershaw Ken Onion Leek, Model 1660BB, has a Sandvik 13C26 stainless steel 3 inch blade with a blue
smoked anodized aluminum handle. The blade has a bead-blasted non-glare finish and the handle features a black and blue smoke anodized finish. The Speed-Safe assisted one-hand opening system swings the blade out smoothly from the handle when the liner is unlocked using the thumb stud or index-open assembly. Simply apply pressure with your thumb or on the back of the handle with your index finger, and the blade deploys. The innovative tip safety lock secures the blade to prevent any accidental opening. A locking liner operates with one hand for convenient closing as well. When closed this 2.4 oz Kershaw knife is 4 inches long. Comes complete with a removable/reversible pocket clip.

As a crabber I use my Onion constantgly. It has more than paid for itself. Now I lost it! Time for shoping for about my 6-8th onion. All have ben lost excedpt one, which was repaired free of charge. Advice: Adjust the knife with the correct tools, and keep the blade sharp (I use DMT sharpeners) using a good quality sharpener. I rely on this knife to cut a tangle or hook line, and to keep from getting pulled over by such lines. I've also seen some close calls whe people or their clothes get hookd or otherwise caught. I can open the Kersha with one action, and have spared many people and co-workers from hook and line accidents. Probably my favorite working knife design to date. Zane
