The Kershaw Tanto Groove 1730TBLK is a highly dependable, outdoor knife that supplies exceptional rust resistance. Constructed with Sandvik 13C26 stainless steel with 3-D machined grooves and Tungsten DLC black coating, the blade maintains its sharpness with proper use and care. The Tanto's 410 stainless-steel handle gives a solid grip with its Tungsten DLC black coating and black G-10 overlays. Release the blade effortlessly using merely the index finger of either hand and a frame lock anchors the blade in position.

I took this blade with me over seas and it performed perfectly. Holds an edge better than any...ANY knife I have used or owned through the military or personal life. I had this knive with me from almost 40 degrees below zero to nearly 130 degrees above in wet and dry and it NEVER let me down.
