Bought this knife at a gun show 2nd hand. We process multiple deer carcasses each year. Thin bladed fishing knives with a somewhat flexible blade are great at removing the sheath material from around deer meat. This knife does this better than any knife I have in a considerable collection. Also it is great for removing meat from the bones. Especially the filet cuts from along side the backbone. It is extremely sharp. Will cut deer skin easily. It comes apart for cleaning. Has a positive locking mechanism that does not slip. The handle appears to be custom built for my sized hands. Wonderful tool. Has a very good sheath for storage or for carrying it in a pack in the field. This is a multiple use tool of high quality. My recommendation: buy!
