The Kershaw 1900ST E.T. External Toggle Knife: Winner of the 2005 Blade Magazine award for the "Most Innovative American Design."
Created by designers Grant and Kevin Hawk, the 1900ST External Toggle is the newest offering from Kershaw in a folding knife design. The innovative ET's aluminum handle is made up of three pieces which are all connected via rotating bolts. The spring in the tail piece allows the user to flick open and close the knife one-handed and to improvise their opening technique. The blade features a built in carabiner clip and a reversible pocket clip for multi-carry positions. A knob lock is on the bottom of the handle that locks the knife in the closed position. The 6061-T6 anodized aluminum handle makes the knife lightweight and easy to carry. And just because you never know when you're going to need one, the E.T. also includes a convenient bottle opener.
